I have a feeling they are here to stay.

They were on the Prada's spring runway back in 2011.

Rihanna wore an interesting, muddy pair of creepers in her "We Found Love" music video...

and also wore an all black pair with thigh-highs and plaid.

Jeffrey Campbell x Wild Fox Couture joined forces and turned ballet flats into ballet platforms. 

And now, I finally have a pair that I can't wait to wear.
